Some words on maturity and adulthood

Mature technologies work well, are stable, and do not interfere with the operations of other technologies.

Mature content keeps to itself and doesn't bother anyone who isn't interested.

Mature people don't bother other people about their hobbies, and adults mind their own business and don't try to start arguments over personal politics.

It is not mature or adult behaviour to strive to destroy content or community that is not yours, just because you don't understand. Mature people mind their own business and go about their day, with perhaps a small expression of distaste.

Censorship, self-imposed or otherwise, is not a mature or adult response, it is a childish one born out of fear. If you cannot try to embrace and learn from what is different, then stay in your own yard and hush up about it, like a grownup would.
