Oops? I managed to avoid keeping this one only by sheer force of willpower, and I could tell she was disappointed. *long drawn out sigh* We both had a lovely lovely time. It was really fun, and her confusion was part of that fun .. but .. geez, how the hell do I do that, keep doing that? And in SL time compression, a couple hours real time?

Goddess, please preserve me from my own inclinations.

... at a funny angle with an @adj_list av I've 'known' for ages but don't know at all. We got a chance to talk for the first time in ages (or just ever?), and it was great.

@adj_list = [ 'sexy', 'intelligent', 'creative', 'busy' ] ##todo: fill in

Later: And so of course after that I ended up Benchwarming, taking new girls shopping, and flirting with random German dommes who now have my keys and staying up too late. Such a pattern..

Nets me a form to fill out: "You've decided to discontinue land ownership in Second Life, and it would help us a lot to understand why."

Development priorities in 2007 were poorly chosen. Valuable engineer-hours were spent on things I did not value like Voice and Age Verification while the Grid stability and Lag continued to, well, suck. Also numerous LSL changes (including regressions) brought grief to the developers and sellers who I bought from. UI changes to the Viewer are primarily not improvements, including the unshrinkable Communications panel that ate my IM window. I actually liked Ratings, even thought they were silly. I still value the medium and it's potential, and all of the sweat and tears y'all have put in, but no tribute for you this year.

Star Trek: TNG and now Battlestar: Galactica (original)

Lots and lots of SL, particularly DarkLife and SLB: http://www.slboutique.com ... Good news is I have a cabin up, a bed, a desk, a chair, a fireplace, and a pretty paper screen ... Fine, here's a pic, I have time ... Frak that's the day star, have another.

Sophia's Demense )

A line from ST:TNG "Data's Day":

"... It would appear that my program designed to predict emotional responses needs ... adjustment."

When I set up the fancy new alarm clock [livejournal.com profile] betnybean got me, setting it for noon on Saturday did not seem completely improbable... now I'll be lucky if I wake up Saturday at all. Frell.
