Sad Times, and Trolled before breakfast.

Although it's difficult to get a fix on what is actually going on from all of the information and data I've processed, it's certain that some bad things are happening in Iran this week (Oh, and in the PRC, ahem). CF: Dear CNN, Please Check Twitter for News About Iran on the Times Op-ed. (This error has since been corrected and the story is now on CNN's frontpage).

Reading some news and a lot of texting, watching a couple video clips, and running some text through Googlefish ... well, that generated some sadness, certainly. Mohatma Gandhi and the saints be with us, maybe humanity will achieve civilisation someday.

Reading the comments posted by native English speakers full of typos, hatred and many ad hominem attacks against President Obama individually and the entire faith of Islam collectively ... even if all of the dozens of such comments on eg CNN iReport are intended as trolls and to deliberately incite some other "side" of some imagined issue ... fills me with even greater sadness.
