Bah. I've showered and put on jammies, gone upstairs, got into bed, but brain no switchy off.

I read through the whole Ars review of Leopard, and it quite reminded me just how much work went into this release, and how many changes there (and almost all for the better). I'll be doing some more backups at work tomorrow and then we'll see if I can risk an upgrade install. One avid LJ reader still has my Tiger install discs, but I will try not to be too frantic if I have to come get them in a hurry ;)

One of the many thought that were jumping in my brain at 2 AM a few minutes after I finally got in bed was that the night I have picked to stay up all night (to switch schedules) is .. All Hallows Eve (el dia proximia del dia del muertos, hall'o'ween, Sahmain, etc). This may make it easier for me to find things to get me awake all night. Or not. Still it was pretty funny that I only put that together just then.

After the flat cleaning (that being the project for the day) was begun (Oh, about 8 bags of trash), I headed out and quickly started seeking about for a way not to go straight home (at 1700, it would have been futile and masochistic to attempt), and so I called over to mom's to see if anyone was about. She called back in a few minutes and I ended up sharing their dinner and chatting some while repeatedly refusing deserts of various forms (what I had for lunch was bad enough).

Said flat cleaning really needs a carpet broom to continue, and I could definitely use one here as well. Lazyweb, any suggestions? Or do they just not make them any more...

Okay, this post, and trips through the Apple store and then eBay to price Mac Minis (for s server0 and I'm a lil tired. I'm a have another go at it. *yawn*
