Singing in the Elevator
2 December 2006 10:31 amSo, after wheeling siz servers across the street and spending a good couple hours in the Data Centre, the iPod (which has earned a reformatting for other stunts) decides that just when I am getting into the elevator is a good time to spin up the Evanesence ballad. So, down the elevator, across the street, into the lobby, up the elevator, and back into the NOC I'm singing softly (and no doubt badly), whilst dragging the emptied cart:

And back at the desk (as it were) iTunes on the Powerbook is pouring it on: Belly "Someone to Die For", Liz Phair "Polyester Bride" (a track which haunted me for months after I got that album, and often since) .. and now back into the Emma-vesence for Evanesence - 03. everybody's fool. *sigh*
And the cute pink memey quiz thing thinks I'm .. furniture. My LJ BattleCard thingy has speed 0, so keeps getting beaten, stuck at Level 3 ...
