Partialy in response to polychromatic

Actually, vidicon has an advanced prototype neural network running on no less than 48 clustered linux atari 2600 consoles in his garage. This network has been fed nothing but images of violence and degradation and news stories about the same (Usually he just hooks it up to the cable feed and turns on the local and national news...). Using evolutionary and genetic programming,he has fine tuned the system to reject such minor outrages as might make Jerry Springer and the 700 Club. The latest addition of 6 ataris to the system was made after the bombing of Buddhist monuments,and these 6 consoles are specifically targeted to the Middle East (between SE (Viet'nam) and SW Asia (Iraq). Oops, so much for the secrecy of that project...

Wow, too much walking today... In other news, The Economist is full of humour this week. Is that a sign of the apocolypse or just odd?
