Monday Updates
6 January 2003 07:56 pmYeah, it's Tuesday. Frell off.
I stayed up all day until Sunday evening (from my last awakening at 11:30 PM Saturday (Ooh, new Stargate ?)) in the hopes of being vaguely diurnal on Monday (or at least sometime this week). I dozed off briefly just before
dinner, and again during Sense & Sensibility on HBO, and crawled into bed, at nine PM, when the credits rolled.
Apparently I woke up once, to look at my watch and see that it was 5:30 AM (way too early), and I may have shut off the alarm clock (at 10?). Next, mom comes in the door and asks if I've slept all day again, and the watch confirms that it is 17:30 something (5:30 PM Monday)
So, I get up, eat two hotdogs and take a bath, consciously calculating where I could go, or who I could call, to get out of here for awhile. I didn't come up with many locations, but a few names, and I got dressed to go outside and call some people, only to find out (from Mom) that it was in the twenties out there
( 20 ° F is really quite cold for @tlanta). So, that fairly trashes most of my ideas for being somewhere else, as they nearly all required going outside, at least briefly. So I am stuck here.
This week's readings:
Sleipnir: http://www.baen.com/library/
Fight Club
