[Poll #1042795]

And of course, leave comments arguing your position or if you've another answer.

The massive intergalactic importance of the frst question is obvious. Still, beyond the aesthetics, there s the question of dust, smudging, and available matching accessories.

The nails, they are too long (for the typing, and some other stuff), but I don't want to cut them myself (... They're so long and strong, t'would seem wrong to me), so i may have to enlist professional (Asian) help. Hence the colour question...

The white one does smudge as much as some of the Apple products with the same appearance, BUT, while you will spend a bit of time wiping fingerprints off it every day, it's attractive enough that it's totally worth it.

I would hasten to add that black will look worse, operationally, than white.

Smudges, scratches, everything looks more dramatic on a reflective black surface. I have a black, shiny motorcycle that looked filthy and scratched the day they bounced it off the assembly line. Fleet vehicles, in contrast, like pickups and vans, are done up white because even though it seems counter-intuitive, they reveal abuse less (white undercoating helps, and visibility is a factor as well).

But...I still chose black :)

Black is boring. Any tween with a Hot Topic in their mall can have black nails. Besides, darker colors are simply more effective in cooler months. I think a sweet pink, maybe even with a white tip would look stunning.
