Short night

Rented the third Pirates movie using Apple's new toy. It was fun, if very silly. The soundtrack is once again quite good and I may have to add it to my collection.

Tried several times before and during movie to practice knitting. Had minor success casting on, and managed a few knit stitches but I am still somehow making everything too tight, and that makes it quite difficult to continue ... *sigh* Also I cannot often remember which way to wrap the yarn. I may have to learn a rhyme, how droll.

Thus nothing of any substance was accomplished, and hopefully I can go to bed shortly.

try knitting not on the tips of the needles but rather on the thicker part of the needle. that way it shouldn't be too tight... :)

that tip, along with some others, and bigger needles and yarn helped me quite a bit tonight!
