Erick Wujcik is dying, quickly

Wow. Game Designer Erick Wujcik is suddenly dying of cancer at age 56.

http://www.erickwujcik.com/

His games, and games he helped on, were a really big deal to me in my teens, and even still are today.

I've actually run a couple of his lesser modules in the ghost chasers games, for those of you who made it to a session of that. He is responsible for the TMNT game, including the mutants and all of the incredible sourcebooks (Transdimensional Turtles still has one of better explanation of temporal physics I have encountered, wish I could find my copy ) as well as countless other nifty Palladium games and .. i have no idea what else the man has done really, but there's plenty on the site and it's links...

Wow. Rifts was one of first games. He'll be missed.

As a long time player of Palladium products, there is nothing I can say to express the hole that just opened up. The man was a genius, and one of a kind, in an industry that produces many one of a kinds. Thanks for sharing this, I wouldn't have known otherwise unless I went to Palladium's site, which I don't do that much.

Wow, one bright light in the gaming industry dimmed. At least we can remember him fodnly for his work and passion if nothing else.
