On this, the sixth day of Christmas 2007, my Network Operations Center gave to me (with a little artistic license):

• Six incomprehensible tickets!¹
• Five MIME encoded emails (injected into the ticket system),
• Four thousand ReiserFS transactions replayed (on rebooted Linux servers),
• Three pointless presentations ( Doc, Powerpoint, later rendered to PDF)¹,
• Two crashed FreeBSD mailservers (fsck, fsck),
• One unmanaged Windows™ server with an IP address,conflict,
• Zero references to any of it in the documentation wiki,
• And nil emails or phone calls back from Prolexic™.

¹: There is some relation² between these items
²: His iPhone typing is terrible, his Blackberry sends in MIME
