Finishing up the first season of Mad Men

Does drinking and smoking that much make anyone feel better?

On that note, what does make anyone feel better? I was so much more comfortable curled up in bed today that it took an insistent feline's provocations before I dragged myself out of bed. So not-being goes on the list.

I'm not making any progress towards anything and that make me feel bad. I don't actually know which way I want to go, or even which way I should go, so I don't have the slight comfort that at least being pointed in the right-feeling direction would give.

The rest of it is less coherent and even more dull.

How are you all doing as summer begins (in the north at least?)

Yummy food, as prepared by me, usually makes me feel better. Especially if it's of the healthy variety.

Being around my favorite people always helps. Particularly when we're both (or all) being very present and connected. Pkk's deep purrs always help when I'm REALLY low.

A beautiful, expressive, soul-reaching dance to fun and uplifting music usually cheers me up a *lot*. Unfortunately I've been so tired and physically stiff that I don't get the inclination much lately.

We're both in the same boat with the directionless feeling right now, hon. It shall pass, at some point.
