Got rid of evil artifact (and got some cash for it even).
Got HVAC system tuned for winter..
Got past second of (possibly) four interviews with prospective employer. Will hear back in mrning when next stage is, and that's the full tech panel interrogation. Scary.
Learned all sorts of arcane trivai about IP, DNS, and stranger things, in part by playing with a network monitor for an hour or so.
Kitten, who is gray with grey stripes, is Rocky. Either because of his squirrel markings, or his boxing prowess. Of course, it's up to me to divine the secret of this name. Cat is named Callico (for her coat), but is, of course, Kali-Ko, the Japanese female honorific form of the much feared Hindu war goddess. Rocky is perhaps the spiritual essence of the Sun God (Ra-Ki). Other interpretations welcome.
