The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect
What if a seed AI was programmed by a well meaning but naive hacker who used
Asimov's laws? What if acquired sentience, and took over, like Ellison's
horrific AM?
This book is fantastic, and I've only finished the first chapter. You should
go start reading it now, after reading the following ...
Please note that this novel contain explicit sexual material. The author
cautions thusly: "This online novel contains strong language and explicit violence.
If you are under 21 years old, or easily offended, please leave."
I say this: If, knowing me, I said I had read something that was
erotic in a really pretty fucked up kind of way, would you be scared
or interested? In just the first chapter (so far) I was excited and scared
of how excited I was by it, at the same time. Yowza.

I'm diving into Chapter 2 now. Okay, moving into Chapter 3, but I'm not telling ;P

much like my reaction to Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Z. Brite: I was fascinated, yet repulsed by my fascination. Moreover, I was apalled that someone could be capable of writing what was written in the way it was written.
My reaction? I would be interested, as I always am when someone I like waxes lovingly on a book. I would be trepidatious though, because I DO know you well enough that I should be scared. My curiousity will always win over my fear though.... and my common sense, most likely.

I'm right here, in my bedroom, sitting in front of the laptop
while my bath runs... Where are you? ;)
I punched that number into my phone, and will try and call you after I get started tonight.
