Outstanding .. okay, unanswered questions, oh Friends list of wisdom and taste. Please comment on:

If I want to read some Jung, which work should I start with?

Is there a (quantum) electromechanical device that can cut the scrub brush off my cheeks and neck reliably?

Similarly, do any of the newfangled toothbrush replacement gadgets work? Do they use slime or?

Sidekick or Googlephone?

iPod Touch or Classic? (or something else again?)

and of course, how do you get yourself to do homework, chores?

Edit: Forgot important one: External storage, for backups and archive? For hopefully less than 200$ ?

Thanks for any input :D

Homework and chores get done because fun is forbidden until such things are accomplished.

Except for right now. =P

iPod Classic plus iPhone. It's the way to go.

120 gigs! And it has the pretty matte finish so you don't get fingerprints all over it, like my previous generation 80g iPod.

If I want to read some Jung, which work should I start with?

To clarify, you mean Jung as in Freud's student, right? I'm familiar with him and his theories, but not with any specific works unfortunately. While Googling tho, I found http://webspace.ship.edu/cgboer/jung.html which has more info than I care to spend time reading (more important things to do!) The very bottom has a few of his pieces of writing referenced.

Is there a (quantum) electromechanical device that can cut the scrub brush off my cheeks and neck reliably?

Sure! My device (imported from Japan for $50+) would do a remarkable job if you kept up with it everyday.

Similarly, do any of the newfangled toothbrush replacement gadgets work? Do they use slime or?

Oh I need the answer to this one!

Sidekick or Googlephone?

iPhone... but I'm a convert.

iPod Touch or Classic? (or something else again?)

Classic, to compliment, as arya pointed out.

How do you get yourself to do homework, chores?

Imagine all the horrible consequences that will arise if I don't do whatever I have to. I'm bad about procrastinating, but it will get done before deadline. And that Hiveminder really helps me remember what things need to be done.

External storage, for backups and archive? For hopefully less than 200$?

Yet another question I need the answer to....

Can only comment on a couple of these:
Jung -- hmm, that's what libraries are for. Go visit the one in downtown Decatur. They have a fantastic reference person there -- and it's free to borrow the books.

For you I'd almost recommend Nair, but then you'd get it in your eyes and sue me.

Teeth -- good, old fashioned device that you use in your hand is still the best, with good old fashioned Crest. I know -- just got done at the dentist with no cavities and my 45 year old baby tooth is still going great!

Homework -- the cost per hour of class was my incentive. I did not want to repeat the hours of sitting with idiots once again and having to shell out hard earned $$$ so I did enough to get by.

Chores -- my apartment is an actual pig pen right now. You've never seen it this bad (trust me!). However, the sampler on the wall still applies -- clean enough to be healthy; messy enough to be happy. How do I keep it clean -- I invite my hardest critic over once a month. Knowing that I don't want to deal with his opinions, I clean. (I also spent too many years earning the money to get some of this stuff so I figure the $$ to replace it aren't there and I'd better take care of it.)

To do lists. Having the work you have to do written down is for some reason an incentive.

No, but you can make it... ;)
