Gah, money
Well, I need to stop beating myself up quite as much over being broke, as I have finally actually looked at what's going on. Between the glasses and the OLPC, plus a few silly clothing purchases, I've spent 1K on additional purchases the last two quarters. And, same two quarters I've picked up new bills, particularly the utilities, at about 200-300 a month. And my income is unchanged.
So, yes I am spending too much, and it's irritating, but there is no mystery, and no great catastrophe to be all larpy about. Both of those major purchases (glasses, olpc) were planned and put off variously for years.
Still need to move forward on cost cutting, of course, but I don't need to be quite so upset at myself.
